quotes ridiculing skepticism

Wouldn't it be nice to know where these quotes come from. For example, "ILN 5-4-07". Who, what or where is that? International Literary Number? Internal List of Noobs? I Love Nie-trink-wasser? Is it a date of some sort?
Illustrated London News - 5th April 1907. (Googled)

Thanks. That lends weight to Tez's post.

Hope I did not get too carried away. :D

Thank you kindly. I would have thanked NTW similarly if he had provided the same info, btw.

Do I feel the world has turned under me as a result of these quotes? Hardly. And even less so given their date and source. And NTW has posted and run...again. Typical.

Oh well.

I don't really see what the point of this thread is. So Nie Trink Wasser managed to dig up some anti-sceptic quotes. Congratulations are in order, I'm sure. But are we honestly supposed to take something more seriously because it comes from "Eugenics and Other Evils?" I guess what I'm asking is, if Nie Trink Wasser want's to attack sceptics, why doesn't he do it himself rather than dig up other people's words to do it for him? Especially since the people he's chosen are, for the most part, not particularly elequant, or even, in the case of the democracy quote, coherant?

Precisely.

But that's the demonstrated nature of this particular beast.
