Source - a bit over halfway down the page. The wind speed at heights equal to the upper stories of the towers was in the range of 10-20 mph. The outside temperatures over the height of the building were 20-21 degrees Centigrade (68-70 degrees Fahrenheit).
The McClatchey photo was Shanksville, wasn't it? The wind there was light that day, 5 mph I think. It's discussed in the Killtown photo-analysis thread from hell, along with most everything else under the sun.
ETA: Unless you're comparing the propagation of the cloud with the cloud from the Towers, which would be a pretty good comparison (same source, jet fuel for both)

Huuuuh? How is it even possible to determinate the windspeed
within that photo? I mean there could be no wind at all in the first
5 minutes after the crash. Average windspeeds says nothing about
the windspeed and/or direction at the time when she made the photo.![]()
Dontcha know that in woowooland the wind always blows at a constant speed. They don't do gusts.... (too complicated to imagine)
