Quantum physics disproves evolution?!

If quantum physics prove that the "intelligent chip" improves sound quality, then why shouldn't they prove ID as well? :rolleyes:

You'd be correct, sir: bunk. The observer effect does not apply to an object's existence; it applies to events, which are thought to be in superposition until being observed. This crank is in la-la land. His interpretation wouldn't merely topple evolution, but the woo apparently can't think that deeply.
 
I asked him for the maths. That is usually a show stopper since about 17 people, all part of the IJC, know it.

The argument is basically of this form:

1) Wavefunction collapse in quantum mechanics cannot be explained.
2) Therefore God exists.

3) God exists.
4) Therefore Intelligent Design is true and Evolution is wrong.

5) Intelligent Design is true and Evolution is wrong.
6) Therefore God exists.
 
I have no doubt that his ruling will be overturned on appeal. Any decent lawyer can find the Observer Effect info and present it.

It will be hard for the appeals judge to rule that Quantum Physics are "creationism" under a new guise.

Aaaaaggghhh! Another moron who believes that the Observer effect refers to a conscious observer.

He probably thinks that Schrodingers Cat is a real experiment that backs up what he is saying.

He is flat out wrong and starts spouting drivel about any QM textbook backing him up, when it is painfully clear he has never read one as any of them would disagree entirely with his nonsense.

However I am not paying money to register over there simply to point out to a moron how incorrect he is.

Can anyone lure him over here? It would be very fun indeed.

His line of reasoning can be used to save alot of people! He argues that "there is no phenomenon until it is observed." As long as we don't observe a bomb, it can't explode! How can an asteroid impact occur if we don't observe it? If we can just avoid observing dangerous things, nothing bad will ever happen again! I guess ignorance is bliss.....

Also,
What you are attempting to do is to poke holes in a scientific theory. THat is fine and good, so I expect you will be doing the same against the theory of evolution, or you are nothing more than a hypocrite?

Anyway, you don't understand his POV. He says GOD is observing everything, therefore everything exists.
 
Quantum Mechanics actually proves that thinking beings can't exist since if they do they will speculate about their awareness and so cease to exist since they will then effect their own existance by thinking about it. Quantum Mechanics clearly states that measurement of position destroys all information about movement or direction so as soon as you know where you are you stop working since even breathing implies movement . So it looks as if you are all a figment of my imagination as I also would appear t
