Plane crash differences

No fighters were scrambled to intercept the aircraft heading towards Washington DC because NORAD already had all four of their fighters in the air.

The two F-15s from Otis AFB were chasing down AA11 - NEADS having been told it did not hit the WTC and was headed towards Washington DC.

The two Langley F-16s, scrambled to take up a blocking position over Baltimore, were sent east to a military training ground by accident. Moments before the call came in regarding AA77, they were turned around.

The report: "Latest report [low-flying] aircraft six miles south-east of the White House" came in at 09:35:41.

The Langley F-16's were immediately directed to fly direct to the White House, however when AA77 hit The Pentagon 80 seconds later they were still 150 miles away.

On the Bush thing, I think if I was an American I'd be pretty unsupportive of Bush given I really don't like his domestic policies (the ones I have heard of) however I'm not an American so the only ones I care about are the foreign policies. I am generally pretty supporting of current US foreign policy, although I find their method often pretty poor.

I used to support Bush. Still do in some respects. But after stepping back and taking a look at his track-record from a conservative stand-point, he's probably the worst "Republican" president I've been alive to see. The spending, the broadening of government...

I'll be happy when 08 rolls around.
 
I live with a deep fear of how Al Gore would have reacted to 9/11, so I don't regret voting Bush that time around.

In 2004 if the Democrats had put ANYONE competent up there, anyone who had a clear, sharp vision for what they wanted to do in 1) Iraq and 2) health care, they probably would have gotten my vote. They ran John Kerry instead. I abstained from voting.

So I guess that makes me a Bush supporter, but...

I agree with your thoughts, but I held my nose and voted for Kerry anyway. Yuk! Two years later, I honestly believe we'd be better off if Kerry had be elected instead of Bush, but that's only because I can't imagine how Kerry could have made things worse.

See this is the reason we need to vote in the primaries...
 
Its a reason to vote thrid party. At least my guy has been abducted by aliens. He deserves to be president.
