Just saw P&T's show at the Rio this weekend, finally.

It was awesome. It would be a really nice nighttime activity at the Amazing Meeting. Lots of the stuff they did would complement the convention nicely. They talked some about psychics and did a cold reading bit. They did a lot with misdirection but talked about what they were doing and even purposely exposed some of their more basic tricks, in a funny way. Even threw in an atheism joke here and there... :)

Thanks for the review!

I have tickets for Thursday and Saturday nights during TAM6. My first TAM and the first seeing P&T live.

I've seen P&T several times. They are excellent, and they cycle tricks in and out of their show so parts are always fresh.

Be sure to arrive early. They have a jazz duo playing for an hour beforehand, and have audience members sign an envelope (to later prove it's the same envelope). After the show Penn, Teller, and Jonesy are in the lobby to sign autographs and pose for pictures.

Wasn't there supposed to be an "official" P&T night for TAM6 attendees? When was that?

Where can a ticket within the JREF block be purchased? I seem to remember seeing something, I think on the TAM registration page, but can't find it now. Is that block of tickets sold out?

It was there a few weeks ago, I imagine the block is sold out now. Maybe than can pick up some more if there's a big enough demand?

That's possible, but I guess I'll just buy one at regular price for the same night. I really enjoyed their show last year.

I asked Linda about this a couple days ago and was told that (at that time) JREF couldn't get more tickets. I don't know how big a block we got to start with, but I'd guess we've filled a fair chunk of the theater. I'm going to try to buy one at the normal price.
