Split From Peaceful protester harassed .

er... yeah thats what Protesting IS...

He was there to be disruptive. Whine about something else.

its Supposed to "disrupt" the status quo to effect change... thats kinda how it works... as long as they remain non-violent they are well within their rights.

No. It then becomes "tresspassing."

You can be escorted out using minimal force required to remove you. That's what I saw on the video.

MacGovern may not be quite as bright as he thinks he is any more.

Give me a break you mean to tell me that two officers can't remove an old man without bruising and bloodying him? That's pathetic.

We don't have the entire story but these self-righteous cops invent the need for force in their minds.

To just say that he deserved it is pretty low.

He's a retired Army officer and probably in a lot better shape than you would expect. He also refused to just go along with the officers.

Sorry, but the harder you resist, the more likely you are going to get hurt. Activists need to deal with that fact or stay home.

I formally and publically accuse you of hypocrisy.

Then continuemaking a fool of yourself.

I would say the same thing were he a known teatard or white nationalist.

He made a spectacle of himself and was told to leave. He chose not to. He chose to be physically removed.

Too bad about the bruises.

Blather. That you have posted hypocritcal statements is simply a fact - it isn't in dispute.

I would say the same thing were he a known teatard or white nationalist.

But you would not say it if he were a war protestor. See, you aren't a hypocrit because of your hatefest towards this protestor. You are a hypocrit because you would not spew the same vitriol if he was protesting something you also oppose.

I agree. He is a loud, obnoxious moron, and he got what he deserved.

Dude, are you aware of who he is and what was written on his t-shirt? That statement came out of your drawers.

Actually, that statement came out of your posting history.

I will conceed that you in fact would oppose some war protestors acting this way. I still insist that you do not oppose all protestors acting in this manner, and you use your perception of where the protestor stands on the political scale as the determinate.

I assume you were saying this in sarcasm, given the account in the article about his “loud” and “obnoxious” protest…
When Secretary Clinton began her speech, Mr. McGovern remained standing silently in the audience and turned his back. Mr. McGovern, a veteran Army officer who also worked as a C.I.A. analyst for 27 years, was wearing a Veterans for Peace t-shirt.

Blind-sided by security officers who pounced upon him, Mr. McGovern remarked, as he was hauled out the door, "So this is America?" Mr. McGovern is covered with bruises, lacerations and contusions inflicted in the assault.

I'm surprised, Lefty, this is not like you.

I see no reason someone standing with their back turned to a speaker and with a slogan on a tee shirt needs to be removed.

Oh, I don't know, maybe the people sitting behind him would have liked to have seen the speaker. I suspect they came there and paid money(?) to see Hilary Clinton, not a clown in a black t-shirt.

Wow.

That was a rather small venue -- his initial "stand and face away, silently" part of the protest is not shown, I can see the Secret Service getting very nervous.

The article makes it seem like he was in a large, standing crowd, not that it was a classroom-sized bunch of seated people. "Alert -- guy's getting freaky just a few feet from SOSOTUS, takedown!"

I watched the video and I didn't see any excessive force being used.

Just a question: How did you feel about the "Don't Taze Me Bro" kid?
