Merged Peace President invades Venezuela,/U.S. Forces Capture Maduro

If you have to demand a Nobel Peace Prize by force from its titular recipient, I think maybe you don't understand what a peace prize is. The value of winning an award comes from people awarding it to you because they agree you earned it. Simply having the gold medal they hang around your neck isn't the same.
Will he also be expecting her to hand over the roughly $1M that goes with it?

He couldn't wait to grab the shiney gewjaw that FIFA gave him and hang it around his own wattled neck. The eternal infant doesn't understand that the value of something can come from having earned it, or because it's a reflection of other's opinions about him, he just sees the shiney shiney, wants the shiney shiney and takes the shiney shiney. Even my dog understands the treats I give him reflect that I'm pleased with him and he's being rewarded, in that respect he's more emotionally mature than Trump. Mind you, he's house trained, so he wins that one too.

You're talking about a person who thinks he advocates for peace by starting a war and then demanding payment to stop.

It is as simple as "Obama got one" - Trump doesn't give a ◊◊◊◊ what it is, Obama got one so he should get one.

It is often difficult for small children to understand this.

The fact that this keeps coming up, and seems to occupy Trump's mind to such an extent, in the midst of the chaos in the US, almost makes me think that Maduro's mocking dance is what sealed his fate - the sheer pettiness of such a reaction, coupled with the fact tha Trump has mentioned that dance, seem to point in that direction.

International politics and diplomacy fuelled by petty grievances. Terrific. Just what we all need.

Bare in mind that the whole reason we're in this timeline is because a black man (who happened to be President) dared to mock him at a a White House Corrispondent's Dinner. That was enough to make him seek the, arguably, highest office in the World just to tear down Obama's legacy. And if he has to ◊◊◊◊ on everything else in order to ◊◊◊◊ on Obama he won't hesitate to do so. He's that scared of the man.

Russian Ambassador: We firmly condemn the U.S. Acts of armed aggression against Venezuela in breach of all international legal norms…
Chinese Deputy Ambassador: We urge the U.S. to abide by international law, cease infringing upon the sovereignty of other countries, stop toppling the government of Venezuela

Translation: Russia and China object to their enemy (the US) taking action to deny their countries resources (oil) obtained from stolen US properties (US oil rigs "nationalized" by the dictator of Venezuela).

Maduro was actively violating a US embargo on oil sales to Russia and China. US warned Maduro to stop, and they didn't. US blockaded boats, and they kept pushing. US seized boats, and Maduro taunted the US and kept pushing. So the US enforced the embargo in a very aggressive fashion. It wasn't nice, it wasn't pretty, it wasn't friendly and meek. But tactically? Highly effective.

My personal feelings about the ethics of the situation aren't particularly pertinent to observing that we too a materially effective step to deny our enemies access to a vital resource.

I know. Between FN, and HK battling for the soul of the US Army I feel like I should be offended we don't buy American any more, but their stuff is so good.
Apart from the new rifle is useless as a general issue weapon and the M4 will remain the standard issue.
