Yes, it's that time again, for another election. May I offer up the one candidate who is the best qualified for the job?

Dear friends, let me offer to you: PAT PAULSEN!

True, he's never won a political office, ever, and there's this little inconvenience of his being dead, but hey, it helped get John Ashcroft out of the Senate!
 
Pat Paulsen once gave a stump speech that really cracked me up. He said (and I'm paraphrasing):

"People ask me, 'Will you control inflation?' 'Will you solve the energy crisis?' 'Will you reduce unemployment?'"

Paulsen paused, then said, "Sure, why not?"
 
I always wondered why Kerry talked like that. I see now that he is just doing a Pat Paulson impersonation. Very clever.

Kerry's impression is terrible. Kerry smiles too much. The thing about Paulsen is that he almost never smiled when doing his act.

Paulsen does have that one quality that should make him appealing to voters.
