I disagree. Masturbation is accepted in both sexes using the hand. OK. But it is generally accepted for a woman to use a pretend penis to do this, but not for a man to use a pretend vagina. I think this opinion is very common, I even hold it myself. Vibrator? Normal. Fake vagina? Sad bastard!

Why has this double standard arisen?

I don't think there's a double standard. Heck, you can get a whole silicone woman for like 10 grand that you could pass of as real if you sat it next to you in a car. One little vagina is not deranged either. I don't think it's any different from a woman using a vibrator.

Actually, a rubber coating on the footpads would enhance the amount of current flowing across the groin area. Without them, the current would have an alternate conduction path out through the feet and along the ground, leaving less current to go through the upper legs and groin.
