orbs

So I was filming (sorry, I don't want to confuse anyone - I was videographing) the rain through a window yesterday when I noticed a large, white circle. It was a perfect circle showing up in the viewfinder. How odd.

It was the reflection of the camera in the window. How often do you suppose people have taken pictures of "orbs" and it's merely this? I don't mean the orbs that are obviously dust or something, but like this, a ring or circle?

Can you post a still?

I would expect this to be visible to the photographer, which overexposed & out of focus dust motes may not be, but I expect it could happen if the photographer was inobservant. Clearly you spotted it.

I'm embarrassed. I wasn't actually recording, just setting up the shot when I saw the ring. I'll try to replicate it. Hopefully it will reflect without all the rain on the window.
