"Orbs" As A Hobby

http://orbsbybeans.com/nikond70sphotos.html

From the photos section,I loved this quote:
Some of the photos were out-of-focus, but I think that was mainly caused by him not using his monopod this first time out.
So a monpod gets things in focus! Probably why every camera hasn't got one fitted!
He came back in several times because the external Vivitar 285 flash would not fire in complete darkness.
Not much use as a flashgun then!
There were Orbs that were so faint that we had to equalize the photos to see that they were even there.
So they manipulated the shots to create orbs!! This site gets better!! Having looked at the "Orbs" I think more than just a little digital trickery at work!
You know what beans create.... :D

Those poor people! A Vivtar 285 isn't a dedicated flash for a Nikon D70S!

Should I tell these poor people their days of orbs are over?

The best part is they give the orbs names like "Little Wing" etc.

Hm. Exploring the site further I see it's no longer just a hobby. I wonder if the spirits of Little Wing and Shrinking Leaf approve of the Beans making a profit off their orbal backs?

Perhaps when they play Klaus, the orbs will organize and tell us all their secrets. The red guys will appear en masse to the strains of The Cold Song. Little Wing will ascend to new heights when Klaus hits the refrain in Lightning Strikes Again. After all, Klaus did come from space to save the human race.

My favorite part..."Since July of 1999 we have been photographing Orbs and using Dowsing as a method of exploring them."

How in woo terms do you use dowsing to find something in the sky!!!?? Are orbs made of water now?

The way I understand it, you can "dowse" for anything: water, answers, aliens, etc. You use the rods like a magic-8-ball. You ask a question like, "Orb? Are you the spirit of a noble native american warrior?" and if the rods cross, the answer is YES. (Or maybe the rods cross if the answer is NO, depending on your pre-arranged deal with the spirit world)
