Screw it, I'm going with 2. Pretty much every sentence could be nominated as a Stundie on it's own. You've gotta go with that sort of value for money in the present economic climate.

There are so many "it was predicted in this or that movie" (or other work of fiction) wackos out there it is somewhat unusual that the Tolkien reference is so drawing here. However it is so very illustrative of the theme and so patently ridiculous that it has stundie appeal. Of course the final stundie appeal is the oh so ironic last question.

For that reason #10 is this month's epitome of stundie-ness.

IMHO of course.

I voted for 1, 2, 9, 10, & 16.

For #9, I do have a question though. We know that most structural collapses on Earth are gravity driven, because the direction of the fall is downward (toward Earth) in general. I'm not sure we would know what to expect from a non-gravity-driven collapse.

How would you differentiate a non-gravity-driven collapse from a gravity-driven one, and what would it look like? Would it fall up?

Regarding #2, magnetic sunshine gravity -- brucel refused today to retract the claim, and suggested any embarrassment he might feel over having his statement on my sig is purely my imagination.

Wowsers.
