Obama's So Cool...

Well, my opinion is different from Neally's. By way of explanation, I find Putin cool, although he's a Communist and ex(?) KGB head.

Obama's just plain not cool.

Does not look cool.

Does not act cool.

Plain and simple.

"Tell me why you like Obama, but the reasons have to be valid. Of course I'll have to be the judge of that validity. And don't even start if you are a socialist, or union sympathizer, or conspiracy theorist, or something."

I don't argue with you. You gave your reasons for not liking Obama and they are indeed your reasons. You satisfied the requirements of the request. Good on you.

Your reasons are, in my opinion, indefensible, but that wasn't part of the request, so I don't complain that you have done anything other than what you were asked. Can't argue that.

I only post to note, that although many people have attempted with some success to lamely misdirect the thread in intelligent directions, nobody seems willing to step up to the bar and get butt kicked of the bar stool for the actual premise of the OP:

"Obama's Cool!"

So....like hey, let's trash those republicans, eh? Like that's whatado, cuz otherwise we have to figure how eating dogs is cool.

Tricky seemps to have forgotten Iran-Contra. The first president to orchestrate the smuggling of murder weapons to Central American drug cartels was Saint Ronnie. And that was not for the purpose of trying to prosecute the drug cartels.

Selling the contras guns to kill priests and nuns with didn't bother me as much as the cocaine they smuggling back into the US on the return flights which ended up in Miami, LA and Chicago inner-city projects.

This reminds me of an interesting anecdote:

Some journalist made a very critical documentary about Reagan back in the eighties. It was basically a summing up of failed policies, set to PR images of Reagan meeting people, signing documents in spectacular settings.

The docu was so critical that she thought she'd blown her access to the Reagan administration. But when she got the PR manager on the phone, he was very happy with the result.

She told him that she was surprised by his enthusiasm.

He said: 'Oh that. Nobody really listens to those things, its the pictures that matter, they stick.'

Ever consider the fact that YOU, and the voting public follow this rich, long heritage of voting against your own interests? Also, have you ever considered the voting public here in America voted for a war monger twice?
