This thing is one of those that keeps puzzling me.

What would happens if we could completely desconect the brain from the bodie's senses?
Like somehow the brain doesn't hear, see, feel anything.
Beeing completely alone with your thoughts, what would happens?
Will it make you sleep and don't wake up? It will make you crazy?
It will make you feel in heaven or in hell?
What do you think?

Sensory deprivation is well-known to cause hallucinations, as well as various emotional responces such as euphoria, paranoia, and anxiety.

Do it long enough, and I would say that insanity is pretty much inevitable. The brain is desinged to process sensory input. All of our higher functions like thought and memory are derived from those functions, and operate in terms of them. The brain simply is not equipped to function properly without sensory input.
