How do you feel about the Nation of Islam?

What do you have to say to Louis Farrakhan about his religious beliefs?

ETA:

THese are the official platform of beliefs as laid out by Elijah Muhammed in 1965:

1. WE BELIEVE In the One God whose proper Name is Allah.

2. WE BELIEVE in the Holy Qur'an and in the Scriptures of all the Prophets of God.

3. WE BELIEVE in the truth of the Bible, but we believe that it has been tampered with and must be reinterpreted so that mankind will not be snared by the falsehoods that have been added to it.

4
Edited by Darat:
Edited for breach of Rule 4.

...snip...

We believe further and lastly that Allah is God and besides HIM there is no god and He will bring about a universal government of peace wherein we all can live in peace together.

Any comment Kathy?

If her experience is anything like mine was, she firmly believes that Islam is wrong and heretical, because it denies the divinity of Christ.

My religious upbringing was so strict, I felt guilty my entire Junior year of HS because I took a World Religions class. We weren't allowed to even learn about other religions, lest we become "infected" with their heresies.

Of course, you asked Kathy, and so she should answer for herself, but I'm willing to bet dollars to doughnuts her answer will be "they're heretics," or something similar.

Obviously, Elijah Muhammed was a false prophet, which the Bible warns us about.

Fowlsound, what was the point?

In the list of beliefs, All but 3 were different from kathy's beliefs.

In fact, I doubt she'd even realize how close to other extremist groups she is.

Actually if you want to diagnose my personality is type A so of course I am quite voicetross and expressive as a human being. I have strong likes and dislikes. Type A personaily is just one of my attributes.

But when it comes to the problems in this world...I get very upset to see so much violence and deceit in the world. Does this make me even more extreme, Yes! But I unlike you know the battle is the Lords.

I myself had gotten so sick watching the news after 911 I stopped watching the news. I might read headlines in the paper but I am not one that is well educated on what goes on world wide nor do I want to be. If God leads me in a direction to become more active in politics, or teachings concerning other world views and religions, then I am open. But I am more of a people person than an historian or politician!

What is a "Type A" personality? I've never quite understood that psuedo-scientific jargon. I've always considered "Type A's" to be jackasses; for the most part, and selfish, conceited and cruel.

As a Muslim, if I love God and do good works, is there a place for me in heaven?

Luke, Chapter 10, 25-28
And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?

And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.

Of course not! Allah is a false god and anyone following him deserves to burn forever in the lake of eternal fire!

I am so glad I've got Jesus in my life so I can be with him in Heaven and spend the rest of eternity laughing at your anguished screams.

You do an almost brilliant impersonation of KK.....

just add in a couple of long duh's and quite a few mis-spelt words.

This is all you really need to know about Kathy.

Kathy I hope for our sake that you don't vote.

What makes it ok for you to have these "voicetross" opinions on divisive issues when you choose not to educate yourself?
