Need Free Keylogger

I'm looking to put a keylogger onto my own computer. Any suggestions for a good free one would be great. Preferably that won't be detected by a virus scan as it would be pretty annoying for my virus scan software to delete it and force me to reinstall it.

You can get a cheap gizmo that sits between the keyboard wire and the PC and logs all the keys pressed. I dont think this would be picked up by a Virus Scan. Why would you want a keylogger. It is like reading someones diary. You can find out a lot of stuff by looking in temporary files though.Spyshop UK may have them but I can not access their website at present.

Most anti-virus programs will find keyloggers, however many of them also allow an 'allow' list in the case of the occasional false positive.
 
My former girlfriend did something she shouldn't have to break my trust in her. I certainly can't gain that trust back on her word alone as that is part of the problem. I would have no way of knowing if she lied to me unless I have things I can check against what she says or promises she makes. Hence the keylogger. That way I can see if she does things she isn't supposed to and therefor wrecking the second chance I'm giving her, or I can see that she is following the rules and gain some trust back.
 
I know you didn't post here to discuss the matter, but I would strongly advise you not to do this. If you distrust her to this extent, end the relationship. There is no possible good that could come from such an invasive betrayal of her trust in you.
 
I guess you if you need evidence, there is still some doubt whether she's in fact guilty, right? What if it turns out that she isn't guilty? Then it won't just be a -1:-1 draw, but -1:0 against you.

Yes, this is a really, really good idea!

Also, please film it when you finally tell her you installed a keylogger. Hours of fun will ensue, I promise.

On-topic? The physical keylogger is your best bet.
