Nebraska "cryptid" photographed?

I think it might have a bobbed tail, the long part after the "kink" looks like part of the background rocks to me.
 
Definitely looks like a dog.

The legs and tail are totally canine. It looks more like a Great Dane than a Pit Bull, to me. I've seen plenty of Great Danes with those kinds of markings. Also Bulldogs, Boxers, Mastifss, etc...

There's nothing to see here, folks. Move along...
 
Some of the comments in that thread are either hysterical or sad, depending on the reader's POV. Dogs' heels are knees that bend backward, seeing movements from a single photo, "ape" is the politically correct word for "monkey," and this gem:

he tail looks as if it has been broken at one time or maybe it was some how amputated and put back on again.

When I see things like this, I can not help but wonder if these are animals that have been gentically altered.

Riiight, genetic alteration of a grown animal is the usual way of making a broken tail. *9_9*

I agree with those who say it's probably a sick, injured canid of some sort.
 
When this guy mentions gremlins and shunka is he talking about woo woo animals or do things by those name really exist?

Quite remarkable!! It does have similar characteristics to the Shunka.
It’s shape and movements are more like a gremlin, or even a baboon.
But finally a decent picture!!! People are learning how to use cameras!!

That's a decent picture? Well, I suppose compared to all the bigfoot snapshots, it's a real gem.
 
How about this comment from the site?

Because if it wasn't small, grainy and have something blocking the subject, it would just be a picture of someone's dog. That's why there's never any clear pictures!
