It's stunning isn't it.

I'm Canadian, so our version was Mulroney expressing pity for the critics of NAFTA, referring to them as ignorant socialist protectionists who will one day thank him for ushering in NAFTA the Great Job Creator.

And now it looks like the Conservatives are picking up the 'kill NAFTA' mantra, willfully ignoring that their predecessors were its midwife.
