Moon Matrix

David Icke's new book:

His most staggering revelation is that the Earth and the collective human mind is manipulated from the Moon, which, he says, is not a ‘heavenly body’, but an artificial construct – a gigantic ‘spacecraft’ (probably a hollowed-out 'planetoid') – which is home to the extraterrestrial group that has been manipulating humanity for aeons.

He describes what he calls the ‘Moon Matrix’, a fake reality broadcast from the Moon which is decoded by the human body/mind in much the same way as portrayed in the Matrix movie trilogy. The Moon Matrix has ‘hacked’ into the human ‘body-computer’ system, he says, and it is feeding us a manipulated sense of self and the world 24/7.

David Icke is either the greatest of the wooy woos or the most uncreative conman I have ever seen. I write this because so much of the mythology he weaves seems to have a foundation in the popular culture. Even the hollow moon idea is something I have seen before on a television show.

This leads me to believe in (a false dichotomy, I will admit) the idea that either Icke is so crazy as to believe the fiction he reads or sees is the truth being hidden in plain sight, or he just isn't very creative in his con; or perhaps he doesn't think much of his followers.

Let's accept that theory for a moment: What exactly allows him to know that when we're all in a simulation? If the simulation is good enough to fake reality, it should also be able keep him from being able to perceive and understand the reality.
This gets funnier if you think about the requirements for powering the whole shebang and the computational resources needed to give each of us 6 billion humans a unique fake reality.

Some woos really need to get their fanfic straight.

This is the reality that's being broadcast to us? They invented Paris Hilton and Dylan Avery?
That's one sadistic group of ETs.

You cannot read Human Race Get Off Your Knees and be the same person you were when you picked it up.
I'm sure that's true and I can't think of a better reason not to read it.

I knew it! Thetans!

My wife's had one of his books - "Alice in Wonderland and the World Trade Center Disaster" for a while now. She REALLY hated Bush, and I'm guessing she picked it up on a whim. I don't know if she ever read it completely, but I had a great moment the other day. We were cleaning out a bunch of old stuff out of the "office room" and she handed me the Icke book, and said "I really don't care what you do with this."

It got tossed in the plastic garbage sack along with the contents of the litterbox.

That made me very happy, as I've tried to give her subtle WTF's about the book in the past.

See I will never toss out a crazy book. I was so sad when I lost my Turmoil in the Toy Box books; I remember laughing all the way through those books.

I know I've said this before, but: why do woos use The Matrix as an example? It wasn't a great film, and it certainly wasn't a deeply philosophical film. If you're going to use an action flick as your example, why not pick a good one like Commando?

It was a really over rated film and they are not cultured enough to know about The Thirteenth Floor. or Dark City, or even Megazone 23. Because as much as they want to say it...they are slaves to pop culture. Ask them to pick a teenage vampire hunter that is a female and they will pick Buffy, but honesty it is a common theme. They are merely slaves to the popular culture around around them.

"Let off some steam Icke." :D

Hey, I liked the Matrix. Just the first one.

Sometimes I wonder what Icke is on. Must be the best shh ever.

I didn't know that it was possible for Icke to sound crazier.
