Missing Teacher!!!

Today I was walking through a bar where they had a television off to the side corner (on, but with the sound turned down). As I passed by I glanced up to see the frowny face of Nancy Grace moving her lips above the caption/title "Day 2 of Missing Teacher."

My first thought: Day 2? Somebody goes missing for a couple of days and some news program is spending time on it?!

My (immediate) second reaction: Why, you can almost see the thought balloon above Grace's head: "Please God, don't let them find the teacher....Please God, don't let them find the teacher...Please God, don't let them..."

Well, I don't think Nancy Grace is quite that bad, but I see your point. She really loves to point out constantly that she is a crime victim. This is not to take away from the fact that she did indeed lose her fiance through murder, but every time I have seen her interview a grieving parent or spouse, she insists on dragging this in. I guess she thinks it makes her sympathetic; instead it makes her intrusive upon the other person's grief.
 
I hate to be the typical male chauvanist pig but, damn, Nancy is hot.

Hehehe, I'll have to admit, I've had guilty thoughts about her too, RF!

You DO have to get up earlier to check out Christie Paul OR Robin Meade. They could be telling me that nuclear missiles were headed toward NYC and I'd STILL be starstruck!

Locally, there has been a woman who has been missing since Dec 4. Just disappeared. Was last seen leaving a local pharmacy and driving toward her home.

This is in a rural area, and they have searched and searched and basically have no leads at all. That was 6 weeks ago. Of course, this was a 60 year old woman, so Greta doesn't care about her.
