Michael Jackson seance

It's not quite as bad as when John Edwards, in October of 2001, stated that in November he would have a seance to link victims of 9/11 with their surviving relatives. The outrage was so strong that Edwards cancelled the show. That is an all time low for the Ghost Makers.

Thanks for the links, Azrael.
It seems to be a sort of advertising stunt by a dress shop.

This should be a really good test of psychic abilities. So little is known about Michael Jackson, it would be impossible for someone to fake being in contact with his spirit.

Actually, I think that so little being known about him would make it EASIER, as long as the audience isn't people that knew him well. He could make up anything.

BTW: does anyone remember: did any of the alleged pychics/seerers in those annual lists of predictions call Jackson's death?

He actually predicted his own death I think :) So any coming after had insider knowledge.
There are one or two saying they predicted it but I havnt looked at them.

ETA.. heres one of them, who claims last year 90% of his predictions were right, but people only like to slag him off when he is wrong.

I see that according to Sky, Derek Acorah will be joined by 'Michael's personal spiritual healer Reverend June Gatlin.'

I had no idea Derek Acorah was still active.
Off to learn more about Rev June.

Please keep us updated on this potential claimant, Azrael 5.

How can Sky use someone so thoroughly discredited a 'psychic' as Derek Acorah?
Even the Wikipedia entry for the man mentions the 'Kreed Kafer' incident.
It also mentions his up-coming Michael Jackson seance.
I wonder who updated the entry to include that.
Now for the Rev June.

Well.

Will take you to an 11 minute docudrama about the rev June and her background.
The woman gives several prophecies after 10 minutes in and it's most interesting to see how they've played out.

If you actually watch the thing, you'll probably be as struck as I was how the rev's eyes continually look to the left when she comments on her dramatised experiences.

Why would there be outrage only for 9/11 that couldn't be applied to communicating with any other dead family member? The reasons are the same: Capitalizing on someone's death; Using tragedy to boost ratings; etc.

Derek Acorah left 'Most Haunted' after being caught out faking his 'psychic' readings. He's not exactly the most honest person they could ask to do the seance.

Exactly. They should have got a genunie medium who can prove their abilities.
