Five counts…one obstruction of justice, two perjuries and two making false statements…
 
Do they call him "Scooter" as a very creul, un-PC allusion to his mode of locomotion? Tough crowd in DC, tough I tell ya.

I think Dick Cheney should resign also. He was Cheney's right hand man and goto guy. It happened figuratively speaking "in his office" and I think he should resign and apologize.

My only regret is that tool Robert Wilson has a smirk today.

Apologize, I agree with. I wouldn't say resign, not because of this.

If Scooter really is being a patsy to cover up something bigger, then we're getting in to "Resign Now!" territory. And I do think he is being used (willingly or not) to take the fall for someone else, but we're not there yet.

Look, obstruction of justice and perjury are crimes. Cheney should have fired Libby months ago if Libby has really f'd up badly enough to be indicted (though if he will be convicted, we shall see).

I always thought Clinton should have resigned for his own obstruction/perjury and handed the reins over to Gore. The White House should have a squeaky clean image.

I believe in resign early/resign often.

I can't argue that this doesn't look really bad on Chaney. Maybe you're right. Maybe resignation would be the honorable thing to do...
 
What Corplinx said- holding public office should involve the highest possible level of inegrity. Rather than grubbing for power for as long as possible, he should resign and maintain some honour.

Heh. It does sound like one of the goofy nicknames the President likes to bestow, doesn't it? Turns out his dad stuck it on him in infancy. Like it wasn't bad enough to give him the initials ILL.

Just seems cruel to make fun of a disabled person by calling him "scooter". Now, if he were in a wheelchair or was one of those guys that push themselves along on a dolly I could see "scooter". As it is "hopalong" would be a bit more in keeping. I would never ever think of calling him "crip" however.

Manny, you, like I, am a sensitive kind of guy. How do you feel about this issue?
