Let's start the Occupy People's Party!

I'll pass this thread on to Occupy SF, who staged a massive rally today in our Financial District:

And that's just the ones sober enough to walk!

I don't have to go into the city or join a political party in order to defile my environment, sleep rough, never shower, scream obscenities, abuse others, impinge and violate other's rights, or claim to be a member of the 99% when I am as relevant as a speck on a flea on an elephant.

Time for one last Monty Python sketch for the movement:

But enough specks, on enough fleas might...might...do something?

I'm confused.

Was it the well dressed Chinese couple, or the small cluster of hippies on the other side of the road?

True, they will create an itch and be promptly terminated before an appalling infestation occurs. I have flea powder and house keys (they make great popping and cracking noises as you crush them).

Nasty little bloodsuckers!

Are you down with OPP?

By getting the movement co-opted into the system you destroy the movement because the movement is now part of the system. Self defeating and all the whacktards seem to join the green party or the tea baggers.

Since the majority of people are just that, is there really any point to protesting at all?

For me, that's called "Thursday."

The form of protesting helps makes it even more insignificant. Douchish actions attract ridicule, which makes the protest pointless.

Yeah, like that when that African-American lady wouldn't move to the back of the bus, when the driver told her to. The driver had to stop the bus and call the police. She made a lot of people very angry and irritated, and probably made some passengers late to their appointments.
What a douchey thing to do!
