I find it interesting that if you watch the ads plugging 'ol L-Ron's books, there's never a hint that he's dead...

My wife worked briefly -- VERY briefly -- for the CoS about twenty years ago. As part of the employee orientation, they showed her L. Ron's office, which he used when he was in town and was of course off-limits to ordinary folks. They told her that she could write L. Ron any time, and he always answered the letters.

The disturbing thing was, at this time, L. Ron Hubbard was quite dead....
