Jimmy Carter on the take from the Arab Lobby

Steve, I say this as a friend, you may want to take a moment and consider whether you're really adjusting your views to fit the evidence or trying to cram Carter (and his book) into your pre-conceived notions based on your dislike of comparing Israel to "apartheid" in any way.

Steverino, I have to agree with Cleon. I think you're over-reaching, and that unnecessarily here. It's easy enough to disagree with Carter without trying to impute this kind of thing to him; and when the imputations go very wrong, then it buggers up your criticism of what Carter is saying.

Best simply to disagree with the man rather than trying overkill which backfires.

I also understand your feelings on the matter; yet if I may say so, your feelings are blinding you to the fact that the opposition (Carter in this case) can be quite well-meaning to all and be sincere about that, IOW not be evil or prompted by malice.

I agree with you and Cleon, and intend to (ugh) buy his book to at least make an informed assessment. Maybe I'll find some truth in whatever moved him to write this book. I appreciate your posts.:)

There's no evidence suggesting Bush is a peanut. Although we do know he's an enemy of the pretzel. Their salty plans require his demise. I may not support (m)any of Bush's policies, but I stand firmly behind him in the War on Pretzels. Unless the pretzels are victorious, in which case, I for one welcome our new pretzel overlords.

ROFL

If he had not quit drinking, he could have washed that pretzel down with a beer, and not had the embarassing moment.

Drink, and live.
