Merged Jestblaze's Thoughts

Not so fast, big guys.

Indeed there should be a math relation between 0 kelvin and C.
Both represent theoretical limits in our known universe.

If that's even what the new lad was on about.

just another off the wall post but if it's impossible to reach true abolute zero kelvin shouldn't there be an equation that tells you Absolute Velocity in reference to the universe?
Maybe :
Lowest achievable temperature in kelvin * a constant<maybe C> = absolute universal velocity

No.

Why don't you keep your silly ideas confined to one thread, instead of spreading them all over the place like manure?

You attempt to reach Absolute Zero by taking energy out of the system.

You attempt to reach The Speed of Light by putting energy into the system.

These both have excellent mathematical models that are well supported by experimental evidence.

Wouldn't that be, "If anyone here thinks they are telekinetic, please raise my hand"? :p

Kind of a grey area , really.

If you have telepathic powers, one could include mind control in that, as is typical of the skill set of telepaths, not necessary, but typical. Telekinetics could also do it, but by manipulating the hand itself versus the person's mind.

Really? In the fiction 1 I have encountered the telepaths are able to read minds and occasionally communicate without speaking, but actual thought projection (placing an idea or intent in another's mind) is far more rare.

ETA:
(1) Wait. Are we talking about fiction or are we talking about the claims of charlatans, con men, and self-deluded mugs?

I want to make clear what I was saying:
In the fiction that I have read in books or seen on TV and in movies, the characters with telepathic powers are able to ...yadda, yadda.

I was not trying to say that I have encountered telepaths in real life who actually read minds. Such powers do not exist.
