Is Cheese a Drug?

Is there any truth in the belief that eating cheese before bed makes for lucid dreaming? If so which cheese is best? is a bland gouda as good as a mature cheddar or red leicster? Or is stilton or roquefort more like it?

I love cheese and have eaten more than my fair share in my life. However, several years ago, I was diagnosed with urticaria. After some tests, we determined that my allergy was to...dairy. If it came from a cows udder, I couldn't touch it. No more cereal. No more chocolate. No more ice cream. And the worst...no more cheese. String. Cottage. Cheddar. Pepper Jack. Mozarella. Cream. Swiss. All gone.

The urticaria finally went away after 2 years. The worst 2 years of my life.

You are cruelly taunting those who live in cheese free countries.

I have yet to find anywhere in Taipei that sells a nice piece of mature cheddar - and it pains me.

I can barely imagine what that kind of subsistence must be like.

Make haste, go here at once!

Drool :D

You cannot understand what it is like to live in a city where the supermarkets sell kraft processed cheese as some kind of great foreign exotic delicacy. :(
