International attendees- requests?

So, the request for Australians to bring Minties got me thinking... I have pals in Spain who always have me bring Reeses' Pieces and chapstick when I visit. (That sounds naughtier than it is...)

Any international attendees have requests?

Since there's so much to do in Vegas, and so much going on at TAM5, I was thinking maybe I could secure desired items before-hand, saving you time and taxifare.

I do understand most trinkets are best when one selects them oneself, but just in case- I'm putting it out there.

Anyway- PM me if you've got requests...

Oh rats, I thought this thread was going to be about requesting people from specific countries attend. I was all set to put in an order for two Swedes and a Dane.

We already have Claus. That´s at least one Dane too many.

If anyone is coming from Czech, or by way of Czech, I would totally (heart) some Bozkov, as I am unlikely to be going back that way in the near future.

Can one find horchata in convenience stores in Vegas?
If not, might there be any Mexican attendees who'd be willing to bring me a bottle of it? That stuff is deeeelicious!

I will bring English things if needed, I already have an order of Marmite for one Sir Terry of the ExPat.

Let me see what I can do for You.

I can bring mexican goodies, if anyone´s interested... I´ll try my best.

If any Canadians could bring me a shiny $1 coin or two, I would be much appreciative. Tracking devices optional, of course.

Ooh, can you get that red liquidy stuff in the sort of tiny squeeze bottles? The packaging is yellow and purple with a picture of a cartoon duck on it. Or lime salt. I can pay you whatever it costs.

ETA: The same brand also makes this sort of chili sugar or something, that you can sprinkle on apples. Yummy! It's really really good on fruit. I think there are a couple companies that make that though.

I could get you some loonies. Did you want toonies too? Or were you more going for the play on your name?

I'd like to try that stuff.

And Australians, just what the heck is Vegamite?

It's similar to Marmite, but not quite as sweet. Useful for breakfasts, hangovers, and axle grease.

Personally, I love the stuff. But I've seen grown men cry with it in their mouth, so it's not for the weak.

And it now comes in a TOOB!

Which, I'm surprised wasn't around sooner. All the Aussies you meet backpacking carry it with them. Though if anyone want to bring me tubes of Vegemite, I won't object.

Going for the name thing. I've got a toonie somewhere- they're cool, but there's no name thingy going on.

Also, my friend was raving about some candy bar (turkish something or other) that canadians hate and americans love- it's like chocolate covered red licorice or something. If I could get one of those, I'd be mighty appreciative.

And as long as I'm begging, I might as well see if I can mooch a thing of vegemite or marmite off of someone.

Anyone want anything from San Francisco?

Thank you Puggy. That's very kind of you, however another member has already volunteered to bring me some. :)
I'll probably drink it all before I fly home. Man, I love that stuff!
On second thought, you know what.. I will take you up on that offer. :D
Statistically, you'll probably both end up bringing different brands, which is a plus, and I don't think I can really have too much horchata.
If we don't run into each other beforehand, I can easily be found on Sunday when I give a short presentation during that morning's session.

Mmmm... horchata!
