Forget if God designed a flagella, the bigger question is Why did she designed things badly. Did God use a sub-subcontractor?

I say God is an she because God spent a lot of time designing woman and look to have designed man as an after thought or ran out of time. One of those last minute project add-ons. A good example is why men have nipples, Their only real good use is to hang rings from?

Why did God design large animals to eat smaller animals? And Why did she have to use large sharp teeth. If God was kind, carnivores would have clubs on their tails to knock their prey out first.

Extinct animals, did God forget something or just didn’t real like them.

The human is the most complex machine and software on the planet.
But what were the gall bladder and appendix for,to force us to learn medicine to learn to cut them out?
And what was in God mind when she add Cancer. I can understand heathen getting it, but Believers too? That is not right.

So if someone tell you they believe in ID and say their is proof ask them why you have homaroid? :p

God created man and woman as a pair, using the same clay, with the same breath. They are two of a kind. Therefore, they share the same body type.

Animals do not have souls, and so do not suffer. In Eden, before the Fall, there were no weeds, no preying of one animal upon another. All that was introduced during the reign of Satan.

You can't believe everything you read, if it is not the Word of God. There is a great controversy among scientists about how to read so-called fossils (many of which have proven to be hoaxes), carbon-dating is proven to be unreliable, and Christian scientists are refused publication in science journals.

It was not God, but Satan, who added cancer. And any suffering we pass through here on this earth is only temporary. What is that in comparison to eternal life in Paradise? Jesus suffered more than most of us ever will, and He was God's only Son! Besides, as God taught Job, who are you to question God? Where were you when He laid the foundations of the earth? Stop being so arrogant and try submitting yourself to God in humility.

Of course, I don't believe any of that.

My point is that if we want to make any headway, we can't counter religious thought with arguments that make sense to skeptics. There will always be a counter-argument that is patently absurd, but which makes perfect sense to believers.

If you call things "bad", you must have some idea of what "good" design is. So tell us, what is your idea of good design, how should things be? And after that, go build it! :)

Are you saying that if a human can't do it, then we shouldn't expect God to be able to do it?

Aren't we doing that already to some extent? In humans we are making embryos and only letting them grow into humans if they have no genetic disease. We jury-rig other faulty “designs” with pharmaceuticals and surgery, even when the “fault” is simply cosmetic.

In other species we are less shy to “build it”, making mice that glow with fluorescent protein and such… Non-glowing mice, now there’s a bad design.

I don’t think a person should died from a rupture appendix, for one. This to me is a design flaw.

If a designer designed one thing, then everything is designed.

I thought ID was possible but it falls apart very quickly if you add everything. The good and the bad.

If their was a designer, human life and comform was not on her list.

If just about anything ruptures in the human body, we die. Not sure why you're singling out the appendix for that.

Gallbladders store bile produced by the liver for later use in digesting fats. Handy to have.

I am just picking on the appendix because most of my family and friend have had it removed. I live in Canada and it’s free!( But cost in other ways.)

My thinking is, if we were designed, this is a flaw. It kills but only after you are older, which works for evolution but not design.
The truth is, we were not design to live long.I think you have to be over forty to understand that one.
If their is a designer she doesn’t not like humans.

In this case, it should be "there".

But the thing is, woodguard, the ID "theory" is so full of holes that it could only be believed by someone who has suspended critical thinking altogether. So exposing holes in the theory is an exercise in futility. Proponents believe it for one of 2 reasons: either it's a matter of faith, or they're one of the few people at the top who are exploiting others consciously (altho some at the top are themselves true believers).

The exceptions to this are the kids. Some of them can be brought out of the fog of religion. But we must understand, and take responsibility for the fact, that when we "free" a kid from superstition, we create very real social crises for that child. I say this as one who was "liberated", and wouldn't have it any other way.

And how would you fix the design? And when considering your answer, remember that you have take the relationships between all variables from past to present for eternity into account.

Not if I'm God, I don't! If I'm God, capable of creating any universe I so choose, I create a nice Lego world. No rupturing appendixes. No cancer.

Or are you saying God isn't up to that?

If so, then there's something greater than God. Let's go worship that instead.

In any case, you still are ignoring my earlier question re why you challenge humans to do things attributable to God, as if that mattered. Who cares whether anyone on this board could design a better world. Of course we can't. But that's not the question, is it?
 
no intelligent designer would put a recreational area so very close to a waste output, surely.
