Inside Alex Jones' mind

Seriously, you think that is sensible? Please explain.

You have to remember that the phrase "most sensible conspiracy theory" is relative. It's like looking for the most wet dessert, or the least icy glacier.

Is this an Alex Jones theory? It wouldn't surprise me. I'm not buying it though.

Not that I know of. I hear the idea floated around when Trump was in the primaries, that he was there to make a mess of it all as much as he could. It died out after he actually got the nomination.

But how perfect is it as a conspiracy theory? Trump has openly stated that Hillary is a friend and that he's donated to her. He was openly liberal on a lot of policies. Fertile ground to think that he is a secret Dem.

Yes, I recall hearing this one as well. Not sure where it started, but it featured pictures of Trump and the Clintons together at one of Trump's weddings.

It's another one of those "politics as usual == Conspiracy!" memes. Like someone running for the Senate in New York wouldn't make nice with a wealthy citizen of New York, or said wealthy citizen wouldn't want an in with a potential new senator. There's no need to actually like each other for them to have worked together.

If that was the only thing he was doing, you might have a point. But it's not.

People always ask why we bother arguing with people like conspiracy theorists, wanting to know what the harm is in a bunch of idiots believing ********. Well, now we see what the harm is: we have an actual candidate for President of the United States who not only panders to conspiracy theorists, he is one himself. And that's not good for anybody.
Is he? Or is he just pandering? Trump knows he's gonna lose and is making excuses so he can still claim a moral victory.

And it's the likes of Alex Jones who have created the atmosphere that made this **** show possible. In his monomaniacal quest to enrich himself at the expense of the stupid people, he's caused untold amounts of damage to the very foundations of democracy in the US. **** that guy.
Agreed. Well, he's caused untold damage to the Republican party anyway.

Point the first: Do not personalize the topic. Keep it civil, keep it on topic. The topic is not the other poster. Ever. No really, it's not. Nope, not even then. No, I don't care if they DO smell of elderberries, they are still not the topic.

Ok, now you're just getting silly.

Point the second: Other than how Mr. Jones portrays the conflict, the Israeli/Palestinian conflict is also off topic for this thread. If you want to discuss it in depth, go to the thread that is set aside for just that activity.
