By posting in SICE, the assumption was that you wished to discuss Earth Day, which brought out folks who think the concept is silly.

see, that's all that needed to be said. I'm fairly new to the forums so I don't know all the ins and outs. In the future I will make sure to post anything that's not really meant for discussion in the community section.

Seriously though, why does it bother you if other people want to post pretty pictures in an internet forum for Earth Day?

Yes, Earth sucks sucks sometimes. Other times it doesn't. It there something wrong with appreciating the good bits?
 
No nothing wrong with it, but there's bad stuff too, that's being realistic.

BTW, I wasn't the one who reported the hotlinking. I only report the bad guys.
 
I celebrated Earth day by playing the fiddle at a Nature museum in Flanders and I got paid for it so it was a Happy Earth day for me.
