Hamas 'implicitly accepts Israel'

dcdrac,, mycroft offered that comment here in post #30, and it was in response to darat, not you.

As to your claim that 'questioning' what the Israelis are 'up to' will get you branded as a jew hater/anti-semite ----- that just is not an accurate statement at all. We are skeptics here, and have every right to complain, question, criticize and argue against various Israeli actions, and the have the right (and the obligation) to do so out of an honest conviction that there could indeed be a real problem with something the Israelis have done or are about to do.

If the HAMAS leaders actually do come out (with an agreement to support the Hardarim Document), and there is no sign that they will, then there might, a big might, be a way forward, out of the current lunacy.

I am not sure what is meant by the phrase "the current lunacy" in this context. The palestinians are attempting to roll the clock back to 1949, and they demand the International Community (using UN resolution #194 as a basis) force Israel to permit HAMASTAN to exist as an adjoining neighbor, but only insofar as this neighbor can be allowed to continue on the path towards total liberation of all of palestine (which in real terms, means the San Remo 1920 definition of 'palestine').

Both Israel and the Kingdom of Jordan are not particularly impressed with this concept.

Yet, that is what the Hadarim Document clearly says. It does not disguise these aims and it does not waffle.
Which is why the document obtained the signatures of such luminaries of the 'palestinian peace movement':
Fatah – PLC member Marwan Barghouthi, Fatah Secretary.
Hamas – Sheikh Abdul Khaleq al-Natsheh – Higher Leading Commission
Islamic Jihad Movement – Sheikh Bassam al-Sa'di
PFLP – Abdul Rahim Mallouh – member of PLO Executive Committee and Deputy
General Secretary of the PFLP
DFLP – Mustafa Badarneh

You couldn't imagine a more peaceful and fun-loving bunch of good ol' boys.

good neighbor policy

I doubt even the USA has an ambassador to every country in the world, the UK certainly doesn't.

What about your close neighbors? Say, the States you engage in major trade with, and share transportation systems with, and have communications systems that interconnect, and mutual border terminals?

How about in those instances? Would you consider it normal for one of those States to say that they hate your guts, but they'll make a huge concession and implicitly recognize you, but only insofar as they are doing so because it allows them to more efficiently infiltrate and incite more hatred and perpetuate their overall efforts to dismantle your society?

Sure you can: Adolph Hitler, Chancellor of Germany
Joseph Geobbels, Minister of Propaganda
Ivan the Terrible, Czar(Tsar) of All the Russias
That little north korean bug whose name I keep forgetting.
Attilla the Hun
So many others, may they all die in pain and terror.

In return, a mass rally in Gaza has 100,000 shouting "I'm with stupid" and "we shall redeem Palestine with our blood and stupidity", while, in a quiet display of superiority in this area, the israeli government spreads across the world a glossy photo of its government ministers and their CVs...

(Not a bad description of the whole conflict, come to thing of it.)

ROFLMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that does pretty well sum it all up!

It depends on who you are talking about. It's not a matter of Jews/Non-Jews, but individuals who attack others and appear to love to do so. You don't, (as a rule of thumb) but others do. If you have done so, you have apoligised, from what I can see.

That actually sounds very normal behaviour for states that have a disagreement regarding territory - see the Balkans for fascinating examples of this.

For examples specific to the UK that I know about look at Argentina and the UK, the other one is Articles 2 and 3 of the Irish constitution which still state all 32 counties of Ireland should be united, in other words a major trading party with the UK, a fellow Member of the EU still claims part of my country should belong to them. Granted the Irish government is no longer (apparently) directly funding terrorists who are murdering UK citizens but that is a comparatively recent change.
