Can these be mounted upon the skulls of Elasmobranchii?
Wow, a "phaser" that can pop a balloon and a beam that can only be seen in a smoke filled room. Lame.

How is this "lame"? It never occurred to me to do this, and while it's little more than a baby step towards something more potent, (though what I'd do with anything more powerful), it does carry a degree of risk. Sure, it's not a huge deal, but it's a pretty interesting bit of work.
It's not even a baby step.
What did this guy actually do here? He took the laser out of a Blu-Ray machine. Obviously the laser was already capable of emitting a beam powerful enough to pop balloons; and there are already handheld pointer lasers available that can do the same thing. And any laser beam becomes visible in a smoky room. So what's left? He mounted it on a toy gun handle. Oooh, bask in the innovation.
C'mon.![]()

Meh, take your space-walking buttocks and go rain on some other parade. This is my parade, and I'm happy to have little bits of colored paper and inflated rubber go up in flames from a distance using self-contained light emitter in the shape of a 2nd rate scifi television series ray gun as the only source.
I like it. I like it. I like it!
I'm impressed, and giddy, and thrilled to see something like this.
So meh on you.![]()
New "stand your ground" law?
