Godless Linux.

too much :D
Did you check out the comments in the original blog?

Well what she sees as negative points I see as positives!

Yes, Linux is a primative European clone; It is much less capable than Windows. In fact it omits features that were standard in Windows back in 1998; For example Linux has no built-in anti-virus or anti-spyware software.

You cannot even buy popular utilities like Norton Security to compensate for this fact. There are no tools for common tasks like defragging a hard disk. God knows what you would use to send a fax or make a website. You cannot even get Front Page for Linux.

*snerk*

*GUFFAW*

So many things so far wrong... and that's just one tiny bit of the hysteri-larity!

[edit]

It must be a joke. It must be. Please?

Read some of the other entries on the blog, and judge for yourself.

(Of course, the real fun is watching the reactions of the overexciteable Linux-zealots.)

So Linux is a communist plot eh? I always did wonder why it was Red Hat. :D

Sure it would take some time (making something not case sensitive takes more work than making it case sensitive, for reasons that become obvious when you look into it, but not that much more work), but the idea of a case sensitive file system seems unholy to me as well.

I think you can convince web servers like Apache to make the file system appear to be case-insensitive. Everyone should do that.

Meanwhile, I have here a file named oops, another named Oops, an oopS, and, of course, an OOps. Not to mention OOPS.

I like Linux a lot, mind you i think native Unix pees all over all other OS's ;-)

Apple did it. Default install of OS X uses HFS+ which is case-insensitive. Actually caused a security hole in apache on one of the early, early releases.

 Wow. "How To Totally Humiliate Yourself and Get Thoroughly Clusterf***ed on Your Own Blog Site in One Easy Lesson." If that isn't a joke all I can say is wow.
