Ghosts are made of neutrinos?

There are famous ghosts, up northwards in England, in the cellar of a pub (hmm...), of the Roman 4th Legion (I heard it as the 4th, is there an expert to hand?), which reportedly materialise from the knees up, as the original roman road is below the level of the cellar floor.

You're referring to the Treasurer's House in York. Great story; I'd like a little more hard evidence though.

Beautiful city BTW; well worth a visit whether you're there for the woo (ghost tours are everywhere) or not.

I was watching a TV program called Paranormal something or the other and a so called expert said that since ghosts can walk through wall they could not be made of atoms. He said they would have to be made of neutrinos.

Comments?

From the Lyrics of Little Neutrino by Klaatu:

It's only you
It can't be me
For I myself refuse to be
I am someone you'll never know
I am the little neutrino

And now I'm passing through
The one who is known as you
And yet, you'll never know I do
I really do

Nice ghostly flavor to it.

These would be special, heavy, extremely sluggish neutrinos, I expect?

This reminds me of an SF short , in which ghosts were in fact subatomic particles and tended to be blown away on the solar wind unless they had enough mass to hang around. Anyone remember who wrote it?

I get 18,400 hits, mostly recipes. But this thread has the #1 and #2 entries.

Try typing "cream cheese orc" instead of cream cheese orc -- the quotation marks tell Google to search for the entire phrase instead of the individual words.

With the quotation marks I only get the two results (both from this thread), but if I click on repeat the search with the omitted results included, I get sixty-two results -- all of them from this thread. :)
