Seems Uri has struck yet again, as I noticed this in the news today:

Associated Press said:
Medium Uri Geller tells The Associated Press on Thursday that he often had "to shout at Michael, to scream at Michael," as he tried to confiscate the singer's medications during travels in England.

Such the showman, never miss a opportunity to get in the spotlight. Does Uri have a history of "after the fact" statements?

I saw him on GMTV claiming this within hours of the announcement of death. What a publicity whore.

He does have such a history indeed - there was something several years back about some football team or event, but I can't remember the details. And when he was in the jungle (I'm a celeb... blah blah) he had to cut short a discussion with the others about soemthign he was claiming, because one of them mentioned this was all after the fact .... wich I could rememeb the details on that one as well. Sorry. Muddly brain today.

What I found particularly funny though was that for all his claims of 'sensitivity' and knowledge of the world ... he said that when he heard the news about Jackson he thought it was a hoax. Didn't see that coming at all, did ya, 'best buddy' indeed?

Guess he was to busy bending spoons to reach out and foresee this event.

I can't wait to hear SB's take..and explanation as to how she missed what could easily be called the largest media/Internet event this year.

Wouldn't that mean that, esentially, Uri was attempting to steal MJ's controlled substances?

Maybe Michael Jackson would still be alive if Uri was more sensitive and suggested he meet with a caring, qualified, licensed mental health care provider- instead of using the Billy MaysWP yell-to-sell style of Geller-counseling.

(No disrespect to Billy Mays.)

I have a theory that Uri Geller is secretly bigfoot, can anyone tell me if theyve ever seen them together ?

Ohhh, give her more credit than that. I have no doubt that (in retrospect) of course she *did* know it was coming, and if we'd all been really listening when she made her predictions about some company failing or some bridge falling down or . . . um . . . whatever, then we'd have understood that she really meant MJ, but she couldn't just come out and say that because he was such a dear friend and it would have been cruel to him. But it should been obvious to us because the bridge had some repair work done the same year that "Thriller" was released, or the company name had 7 letters (just like 'Michael' and 'Jackson') or some other such irrefutable proof.

Hey, it's been working for Nostradamus.

Hey, it's been working for Nostradamus.

Nostradamus predicted Michael Jackson's death:

The body without soul is no longer at the sacrifice. At the day of death it come to rebirth. The divine spirit will make the soul rejoice seeing the eternity of the world.

I mean, how specific is that? :eye-poppi

I saw him on GMTV claiming this within hours of the announcement of death. What a publicity whore.

He was on the phone with Sky news within 15 minutes of the announcement.
He claimed to be too upset to speak.

About half an hour later he had a Sky News camera crew in his house!

Then the really hilarious bit.

He talks about lots of personal things regarding Michael Jackson. He says he was best man at his (Uri's) wedding six years ago.

The interviewer asks Uri when he last saw Michael.

Uri says "I don't want to talk about personal issues"

So... would that be six years ago then Uri?

Then Uri says he was a hypnotherapist and used to hypnotise Michael Jackson often and one time when MJ was "deep under hypnosis" he asked Michael if he had ever molested children. MJ said no (and according to Uri that proves it beyond doubt).
But what shocked me was that Uri sort of laughs and said basically he knew it was a bit naughty/unprofessional of him...
You see Michael never knew Uri was going to ask such a question.

What a friend to have! Waits till he has hypnotised you then abuses the position of hypnotherapist by asking questions MJ had never agreed to answer. Wow. Wonder what else he asked him?
(Of course this all assumes Uri Geller's story is actually true)

This is Uri Geller's ENTIRE claim to fame these days. That six years ago he knew Michael Jackson.

What a sad pathetic man.

Is it just me ... or does he look like an actual walking bobble-head doll these days?

Oh my God. I can never look at him the same way again.

You have managed a feat I thought impossible - making Uri Geller appear more ridiculous.

I have a photograph of them side by side.

'Course it's kinda hard to identify who's in the picture because of all the ghost orbs between the lens and the subjects. I guess I should have waited to snap the shot until after the UFO with all the multicolored lights flew over and chased the orbs away.

But by that time the chemtrails were starting to get to me . . .

Geller Family Reunion?

Geller can still walk?
You know, I don't know. I say 'walking' in the sense of 'living'.

When I saw him he was sitting, at an angle to the camera which only did more to emphasise the size of his head and narrowness of his shoulders. He absolutely looked like a bobble-head doll, so I'm going on the theory that no; if he tried walking the weight of his stupid big head would pull him to the floor.

:D

It must be easy to trick a multi-millionaire with cheap gimmicky magic tricks, especially if the person is, as Geller says, an incoherent Jackson. Geller again showing how he abuses people's low points and trust.

You can watch Geller talk about Jackson's drug abuse here. In that video he talks about hypnotizing Jackson about child molestation and arranging Jackson's meeting with Martin Bashir-- an outcome he again didn't predict.

Skeevy doesn't even begin to describe that. I'd be pretty bent if I were a family member seeing that junk.

After being Best Man at his wedding Geller was pretty quick to dissasociate himself when the allegations and the trial surfaced - they were supposed to have fallen out over the Martin Bashir documentary - Geller thought Bashir would do for Jackson "what he did for Princess Di" - Some prediction. That disastrous interview was in 2003.
Now Jackson is dead, Geller comes out of the woodwork as a "Close friend" again when he probably hasn't spoken to him in years.
