Firefox 1.5 Security Enhancements?

I don't think it blocks viruses as much doesn't have people actively gunning for it. Perhaps the thrill isn't there for taking down a small web-based community as it does for a multinational software giant with crappy software.

That's my point. If FF blocks viruses, why is Mozilla so cagey about it? Maybe I should send them a query: "You claim FF 1.5 blocks viruses. Since I am running FF 1.5, does that mean I can safely uninstall the Norton/McAfee/AVG/AntiVir/Avast!/WhatHaveYou antivirus software I now have installed?"

FF 1.5 blocks some virus delivery roots. If you put the virus onto a floppy disc insert it into your computer and run the file firefox is not going to help you.
