Face, meet leopard. Leopard, meet face.

An E. coli outbreak last year linked to romaine lettuce killed one person and sickened dozens of others, but the Food and Drug Administration never told the public about it.

According to an FDA report obtained by NBC News, 89 people across 15 states fell ill in an E. coli outbreak in November, but the agency closed its investigation in February without publicly disclosing what happened or naming the companies responsible for the lettuce.
“There were no public communications related to this outbreak,” the report stated, adding that no companies were identified “because there was no product remaining in commerce.”

Yeah, it happened in November, but it was covered up under RatFark Jr. Expect more of this ◊◊◊◊ coming.

Yeah, I had to throw my romaine out because I had no idea what grower was involved.

'Devastated': GOP governor begs Trump to reconsider disaster aid

Arkansas Republican Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders — who was once President Donald Trump's White House press secretary — is now urging him to reverse his administration's denial of her disaster relief request.

Rolling Stone reported Wednesday that Sanders' initial request for assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) following severe storms in her state was denied. She's since written a separate letter begging her former boss to intervene and reverse the denial.

“The severe storms and tornadoes that occurred on March 14 and 15, 2025, produced catastrophic impacts across the state. The sheer magnitude of this event resulted in overwhelming amounts of debris, widespread destruction to homes and businesses, the tragic loss of three lives and injuries to many others. Less than three weeks later, Arkansas was once again devastated by a second wave of severe storms, tornadoes, and a generational flooding event,” Sanders wrote.

Don't you ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ get it??? He plans to be Emperor for Life!!! He doesn't need you or your ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ state anymore!!! ◊◊◊◊ you and everyone who voted for him and now needs help!!!

Genuinely really interested to see if they will learn this time. I thought for sure they'd all come back to the good side in 2020, but nope.

By the time trumps out (or 'supposed' to be out- there's no guarantees he wont try something crooked to stay in longer)- they won't be able to afford gas for lighting..., even candles will probably be stretching their finances lol

Don't worry, they won't need light. After a fourteen hour day assembling iPhones for peanuts they won't have the energy to do anything but sleep before tomorrow's shift.

Isn't the US economy dependent on conspicuous consumption ? Won't it be even moreso when it is largely sealed off from the global economy ? Subsistence workers in manufacturing doesn't seem like a winning strategy for growing an economy.

Nothing trump does seems a good idea for the US economy (or anything else for that matter)

Hardly surprising- he IS the one with the string of bankrupt and closed businesses behind him...

Why would he 'run' the US in any other way than he did in the past???

Only the stupidest of his cult ever believed his lies about being a 'successful businessman'- that was a role he only ever played on TV (poorly)

Oddly this never seems to occur to the vast majority of those who set front line worker's pay rate.

Doing what? Taint gonna be no second jobs. They were lucky to get their assigned one screwing iPhones together. Do they think they might be billionaires one day??!
There will always be a sewing machine needing an operator, and plenty of need now that we've rescued the lucrative garment trade from the greedy Asians. And there are still some old woolen mills standing empty. Throw the chi-chi liberal craft stores out and restart the looms. The kids can thread bobbins the way real kids used to before all that compulsory education DEI free lunch crap got shoved down our throats.

He was a despicable man in so many ways but allegedly Henry Ford understood that if he paid his workers enough, they might buy his products.

He also set up trade schools & at least one hospital, I believe he paid pensions too. He believed in retaining workers not churning them. The original JP Morgan who gave his name to the bank once commented on how much more a business owner should be paid than their employees and it was an order of magnitude (or more) less than most big companies today. I can't remember what the actual figurehead gave was but it was about 30x max.

It usually goes without saying that an economy is stronger the more people who can participate in it. The economy is toothbrushes and healthcare and affordable housing, not solid gold luxury yachts. Oligarchs seem to consider an economy something they can plunder indefinitely for their own personal enrichment. Elon Musk, for example, doesn't care about government efficiency or a robust economy. He just wants to be the world's first trillionaire and doesn't care what has to happen in order to bring that about.

There will be plenty of jobs for the people who will remove from the streets the bodies of those who starve to death or die of measles, polio, Covid, etc.
