You may think its stupid, but it is in no way arbitrary or meaningless if correctly framed in context. "Right-wing" and "left-wing" are general terms, and work fine as long as you know they are general terms and use them as such.

I have to laugh at the direction all these posts go in. Eventually it ends up with:

but seriously folks. I will state my true and honest opinion. I don't like Bush. I don't like Kerry, and I am not going to vote for an independent. I like Michael Moore, and here is why. Although I don't do any fact checking, I like the way his movies get me all enraged and passionate about something. Kinda like that feeling of going on a roller-coaster just because it scares the holy hell out of you. I take it for what it is, a movie, wether or not its called a documentary. I have seen documentaries that make me ball my eyes out because it shows some poor baby swan get left behind by its mother. This never has made me go out and try to save the swans, but I like the emotion it stirs in me.

If people out there take the information, and believe that Bush is a terrible president, and we should vote for someone else, good for them. If they then see that Kerry is not the right man for the job, then I say good for them. If they think something doesn't add up, and they decide to do their own research, and maybe be a little more politically active, then thats the best thing I can think that can come of it.

In conclusion, I think downloading of movies is wrong, only for this one reason.

Because there are people in hollywood, that look at the money spent on movies, and say "hmm, more people spent money on a political movie, then went to see the latest 'guys dress up as girls for laughs and humorous social commentary'. Maybe we should make more of these here political movies." Its kinda like voting.

I got seriously pissed off at Jame Gumm in Silence of the Lambs.

Exactly. It's widely known-- or it should be!!-- that the pioneers of socialism were Jews and in Europe Jews joined the socialist parties en masse to the extent that this political attitude was considered as another proof of how evil they were.
