I've had it. I'm sick of it. I'm not putting up with it anymore.
There are multiple threads about TAM. There are forumites getting together before and after events. There are sights to see, things to hear, etc, etc.
And now, to top it off, I find out that a former colleague of mine, who I didn't even know knew about JREF, will be at TAM6. He's a teacher, so he has the time, and he's a DINK (double income, no kids), so he can afford it. And now, everytime I see him (nearly weekly), he gloats..."I'm going to Vegas...I'm gonna see Randi..." blah blah.
So I've reached the breaking point and made up my mind. I'm going to TAM7, whatever it takes. I may have to quit my job to find the time: fine. I may need to hitchhike to get there: no problem. I may have to sleep in a generous person's hotel room bathtub: might be fun.
But FSM dammit, I'm not missing out next year!
