End times?

The 1st website debunks itself by stating:

Luke 21:32 "Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place."

That generation did pass, and those things did not take place. We clearly have a case of people making an ancient text fit into modern times. So what if they rebuild the temple, or build an army or robot soldiers, or whatever... it still doesn't prove that all of the supernatural things will happen. This sort of thing used to strike fear in me also, but that's what it is designed to do. We are talking about a text written 2000 years ago, the flood didn't take that long to take place.
 
Also, the Religious Tolerance website has some interesting essays to consider on many topics. Here is one on prophecy. Another thing to consider is, what about FACTS? Factual science does not support the possibility of predicting the future as we have seen many times. Anybody can fit events to a book with mythological monsters, vague parables, and strange descriptions.
 
If the Black Death of the 14th Century didn't signal the coming of the endtimes then nothing will!
 
Thanks got the headsup. Yeah that buzzardhead is a kook. A hardcore one too. There are no relevant facts on his websites, just speculation.

You don't debunk them. You respond with belly laughs any chance you can when the person making the claims can hear you (and more's the better if others can hear as well).

I like the gotta at the end of the Reign: The Conqueror series where it is repeated over and over how Alexander will destroy the world. The destruction which does happen is revealed to be metaphysical rather than physical where the model of Euclid and Ptolemy I Soter replaces the old world of Aristotle and Plato.
