Dressing for TAM2

I hope I'm not the only one dressed up for the P&T show. It's the only show that I can afford to see at this point, so I'm going to try to live it up!
How odd that you equate living it up with dressing up.

How odd that you quibble in the slightest at the opportunity for G6 to get decked out...quiet, man! Don't make me come over there!

:D

Well, it's better than some people who think that getting drunk is "living it up" or "partying". ;)

Don't worry. I have other ideas of what constitutes living it up for me. For one thing, I'm quite happy just curling up with a book or knitting something for a friend. :D

Because dressing up means wearing something unusual for you. That's more fun than wearing the same neutral, boring, unimaginative clothes everyday.

Some people are willing to pay outrageous sums for a dinner in a fancy restaurant. You can have a meal just as nutritious 10 times cheaper, but if you want something special and out of the ordinary, you pay for it. Some would say that's a totally waste of money and time.

It's more fun than the alternative. :)

Btw...

I HEARD SOMETHING ABOUT SNOW. That must have been some kind of ploy just to confuse me even more. :p

You're correct, no one can trick you. Any "snow" that you might see isn't really "snow". It's really a large, white, flat visitor from Planet X. Don't tell anyone else though, we're trying to keep it a secret.

I will dress up!! It is fun. Now, should I bring the black velvet formal? Or something a little less stuffy? I could bring the sparkly dress. Hmmm, I wonder where it went. Now I will have to check my closet!

Now, now, I'm not suggesting curtailing anyone's right to be uncomfortable!

Oh, something unusual. Never mind. I thought we were talking about something uncomfortable.

I have a new T-shirt for TAM2. That's unusual by definition.

Paul....you may have a TAM shirt, but you don't have the skepchick shirt (we may print "security" on the back of the guys shirts).

But yes Paul, I will admit, I sure would like to be wearing my
TAM2 shirt on the plane ride to Vegas! Lucky guy!

Well, black velvet might be too formal. :) I like the sparkly dress idea. I'm going to wear something red, red, red and flash some leg, leg, leg! :D

Or, I might change my mind and wear the LBD (Little Black Dress) with fishnets and stilettos just to make Paul ask me how I can walk around like that!

In any case, I WILL be dressed in something unusual. And it won't be uncomfortable. I can't stand uncomfortable clothing.

Dressing up for P&T, I like it :)

* will be bringing along a tie and a nice shirt *

So G6, what's the dress-code for your party?
(Sales period in Belgium. I may just have to go out and look for something appropriate :D)

Hmm...don't yet know what I'll be wearing to P&T...but I plan on accessorizing with some spectacular arm candy...

This is what I plan to wear without the fishnets. Instead I will wear the black fine stockings the ones with the seam at the back side of the leg , you know what I am talking about ;)

Rumors arrived at the Palace Girl 6 that you will have some date that evening. I haven't managed to find out the identity of this date of yours yet but I hope --for your own good-- that he won't be one of my subjects, present or former....

Oh, there's NO dress code for my party. :) That means you can wear anything. I didn't want to stress people out. The main thing is for us to have fun. :D

Oh yes! I was planning to wear a pair of those one of the evenings there. :D The only problem with them is that I always worry about how straight the line in the back is. They can be a pain.

You might have your date being in charge of keeping the line straight :D

Oh? Is that what a date is good for? ;)

I haven't discovered the identity of your date yet but if he is one of my ex-whatever , I assure you that this what he is good for, otherwise he 'd still be wandering in the Royal Palace

What are you talking about, Charmion, moi jealous of G6's date???!!!... :nope: I wouldn't be jealous even if this date of hers was able to compose limericks and sonnets, like this ex-Royal Bard that I miss his name right now...

Ah yes... Don't you worry, my dear Cleopatra. He is good hands (or rather, good legs) with me! ;) I can return him to you after he has served his usefulness for the night. :D

And that's because you're married! I can only imagine how much of a flirt you were prior to having a wife.
