Don't Vote

Wow, tough test.

I am kinda embarassed about missing Nancy Pelosi (confused her with Barbara Boxer), but Ban Ki-moon is new in his office and hasn't yet done much that's newsworthy.

I missed one. I didn't know who Mitch McConnell is. Bummer.

I missed that one, and I lost points because I refused to mark Paris Hilton as "actress, model." There was no choice for "Professional Skank," so I went with "I don't know."

Yeah, I missed him, too. But really, it's not a hard test, or shouldn't be if you live in the U.S. It's a freakin' multiple choice test. Even if you couldn't pick Christina Aguilera out of a crowd, you know that face isn't Condi Rice or Hillary Clinton.

Did anyone else giggle at Paris Hilton and Hewlett-Packard executive being in the same question?

You scored 350 out of 350 possible points, or 100.00%

Not only should you vote, you should consider a career in politics.

You people are idiots.

Seems like a rather dumb test to me. Face recognition as a requirement for voting?

When I was in the 5th grade, we had Weekly Reader. During that year, one issue had an article that said a study had been done that showed a large majority of elementary school students actually recognized only three faces from the news of that time (Eisenhower and Hammerskjold were two IIRC, I think Disney might have been the third). You are, of course correct - this is actually a test of face/name recognition - which has little to do with the issues - expecially if you are not in a position to vote on the person asked about. i.e., I don't care what an anti-abortion judges name is or what he looks like unless I can vote him/her out of office. My interest is simply making abortion freely available (this is a very firm belief from, oddly enough, when I was in fifth grade(app.) and first heard about same).

Yeah, only because you read this thread first and got tipped off to Paris Hilton, Christina Aguilera, Ban Ki-moon, and the rest. Otherwise you would have selected "Pittsburgh Steelers running back" for Nancy Pelosi.

LOL!

Actually, I had not read the thread. And still haven't. But even most of the ones I didn't recognize are easy to guess by process of elimination. And the Isreal dude? I didn't know who he was, but noticed he was reading a newspaper with hebrew print.

I got Nancy Pelosi right but was embarrassed at not getting Ban Ki-Moon - after all that is not a specific USA one.

Bingo. As I said, it shouldn't be a hard test, for Americans. Hell, Darat got a 57; how many of us 'Murricans would recognize Jack Straw, or whoever the leader of the opposition is?

None. But why would we? They are British people, and this is an American-centric board. They don't matter.

I wasn't certain when I picked her. I always get Pelosi/Boxer/Feinstien mixed up. It doesn't help that they are all idiots, so none of them stands out.

A+. 350 of 350. I took the test before reading anything besides the OP.

It's a stupid test and a stupid idea for voter eligibility.

A. 94%

I missed 4, related to the Secretary General of the United Nations and Prime Minister of Israel.

oh, "328".
