Does Matter Really Exist?

31 pages and 1201 posts. Not too shabby. I just have to figure out if I want to pick up the hammer. :)

Life is a mystery ? Death is a mystery ?

Death is the cessation of life. No mystery there. Some of us just WANT it to be a mystery so they can live their lives in la-la land.

How is life a mystery ?
Yes, but does Iacchus really exist? If so, then yes, he would know of such things.

Nice to see your logic is every bit as bad in jokes as it is in serious posts.

Tricky...vodka? The last thing you need around Iacchus is a central nervous system depressant. I suggest thorazine.

You don't need a hammer to deal with Iacchus. Screwdrivers are the thing. Heavy on the vodka.
I'm a rum fan but I agree. The hammer was in reference to this post.

Debating with some people is an exercise in futility.

And if what I'm saying is true? Who do you expect is going to get the last laugh? :eye-poppi

So, what of the great mystery called the Universe ... which, seems to have been born of its own accord?

That's the nice thing about understanding logic, Iacchus. What you are saying, due to its inherent contradictions and foundation of circularity, cannot possibly be true. If you would pay attention to the advice you have been given, perhaps some day you will be able to make a coherent, logically tenable statement...but not yet. No one, not even the most paranoid of paranoids, need worry that your vision of the universe is true. It simply is not possible.

You are quite simply wrong.

"Seems" only to you, Iacchus. "Born", when used (by anyone but you) to describe the origins of the universe, is merely a metaphor. There is plenty of mystery about the origins of the universe, but none of it can be properly explored by dreaming.

If you really cared about the answers to your questions, you would understand that.
