Different languages and God?

I knew the coso artifact would show up in there somewhere:
500,000 Year Old Spark Plugs?

cosocombo.jpg
Found in California, the concretion in which these metal objects were found are thought by scientists to be 500,000 years or so old. On the left is the frontal view of the object which became visible when the object was broken (in search of fossils)
On the right is a side view x-ray of the obviously artificial object. The x-ray showed what looked like a spring on the end of the object simialr to the metal springs on modern spark plugs. If the object is truly ancient, the question is; "who made it?", if the object is really just a modern spark plug as some suggest, then the question of modern dating techniques is invalidated.
It sure wasn't made by the ancient Greeks, Romans or Egyptians.

and talk origins explains all:

It's a spark plug, and "modern dating techniques" apparently consist of asking an unnamed mystery geologist it's age.

Note that all these "ancient artifacts" have been debunked a looooong time ago.

But, just like in the case of the blue holes, you refuse to accept anything that does not fit with your fantasy (lost) land.

KILLIK, YOU ARE BLIND FOR THE TRUTH, REGARDLESS OF YOUR CLAIM.

Tarot has nothing to do with Taoism, Kabbalah, Egypt or the "Gypsies" Tarot cards were created in Renaissance Italy not for fortune telling but for the play of a trick taking card game. This game is still popular in such places as France. I do not read Tarot, I play it. The Tarot is in reality a card game like Bridge and Skat and anything else regarding it is the product of the imaginations of 18th century occultists like Antoine Court de Gebelin. There is no evidence of "tarot reading" before the 18th century. Those of you who own Tarot decks, should not feel guilty about it. Go ahead and play games with them for this is the purpose for which they were designed.

Tarot is only associated with Kabbalah due to the fact that there are 22 letters in the Hebrew alphabet and there are 22 "trump" cards in the tarot deck. I put "trump" in quotations as the Fool card is not properly a trump but more like a wild card that may be played to any trick. Should the Monopoly boardgame also be associated with Kabbalah? There are exactly 22 properties on the Monopoly game board! Would this then be grounds for us to use our Monopoly games for divination purposes?

Are you aware that you're commenting on a 6 month old thread? The guy who started it got banned long ago for spamming the board. He probably won't be able to respond.

They're fantastic posts, though. Great information!

Welcome to the forum. :)

Thanks, delphi. I knew it was kind of old, but I felt I had to respond as Kilik was getting not just "woo-ish" but too close to "time cube" territory for me to ignore it.
Btw. Aleph null to the power of Aleph null is equal to the continuum?
I've heard it said the continuum is equal to Aleph one or 2 to the power of Aleph null. That is the cardinality of set of real numbers is supposed to be equal to the cardinality of the power set of the natural numbers but as I understand it this still remains undecided and perhaps unprovable.

Ah... and someone around to correct my math mistakes. Excellent. :D

Kilik was a piece of work. You should check his other threads. His shining moment was probably when he posted a picture of a Magic the Gathering card as evidence for one of his theories.

Well, after going over more of Kilik's posts including that MTG thread, I found a lot of material to use as desktop wallpaper. I now have Leonardo's Last Supper on my desktop so I can't say they were totally useless.

To quote from one of my favorite letters:

Thank you for your latest submission to the Institute, labeled "211-D,
layer seven, next to the clothesline post. Hominid skull." We have given
this specimen a careful and detailed examination, and regret to inform
you that we disagree with your theory that it represents "conclusive proof
of the presence of Early Man in Charleston County two million years ago."
Rather, it appears that what you have found is the head of a Barbie doll,
of the variety one of our staff, who has small children, believes to be
the "Malibu Barbie".

Ahhhh, a classic.

Would it be okay if I posted some questions from my students who are investigating Tarot? I'll be in about two weeks though... or do you have a suggested site? :)

Tread carefully now. Ed Conrad may be lurking....

Yes,
Probably the best website for cardgames is John McLeod's pagat.com website. There is also tarock.net.
My own website (American Tarot Game Assn) is accessible through my profile.
