I have a few right wing friends and I suppose thats how I got on this mailing list. I get this newsletter regularly form "Ameripac" and this week's installment was particularly stupid-filled. Its the exact same look and feel (and crazy) of a regular second amendment newsletter I get, so I suspect they are related ("Obamas gonna take yer gunz!!!!").
Anyway, the one I got today starts with the breathless headline:
Wait, what? What the hell does ACORN have to do with the OWS folks? I'm pretty sure ACORN closed its doors for good over a year ago. How, exactly, are we supposed to defund them?
Then the newsletter continues:
Um, I got the email at 11:23PM today, November 3rd. And they are waring me of plans for a nefarious nationwide general strike... yesterday?
So, you can read the rest by following the link, but be warned it may cause brain damage.
But, I wonder, does this sort of stupidity actually work? That is, do people really read this crap and think "hell yeah, I'm sending these guys a check"? I must admit I get a couple of left-wing newsletters that can be pretty dumb at times, too. But none of them come close to the crazy I get from Ameripac. Each one I get I have to ask myself if this is really a parody run by The Onion.

Wall Street Protestors Plan Strike Wave
TELL CONGRESS: I Don't Want My Tax Dollars Funding Strikes & Social Unrest! DEFUND ACORN NOW!

Then the newsletter continues:
The Wall Street protestors are making plans increase the social unrest. Rumors have been circulating that the agitators will be launching a nationwide general strike on November 2nd. There is also talk that the protestors are orchestrating a worldwide strike next year.
