David Icke

I'm jealous of David Icke. He has managed a thing that for most human beeings is a huge problem: "what do the other people think of me". He was forced to get rid of it because he had his "outcoming" in public on the Wogan Show, beeing a well known sports presenter. Whole UK laughed at him, not with him.

The Lizard stuff came later and it was only a facet of his "i report everything i come across" attitude. It's not the core of his message. The core is the way he thinks reality is working. I think his best speech was this, "Robots Rebellion" from 1994:

I dont't subscribe to all of his "conspiracy" stuff but i subscribe to his cosmogony. Hard to swallow for fundamentalist materialists. But at least he is one of very few Conspiracy Theorists who aren't christian fundamentalists.

Well, I listened to the first hour of this speech. Didn't hear anything about his cosmogony. He does wax philosophical at the beginning, but there's nothing really groundbreaking or original to be heard. His metaphysics seem to reflect typical New Ageism: rejection of both scientific positivism and religious monotheism; belief in extra-human consciousness and reincarnation; adoption of a Brahman-like conception of God and the universe (basically Holism); use of buzzwords like "energy field" and "One Mind"; etc., etc. Then, as a final touch, he throws in a little "Noble Savage" and we've got ourselves the perfect New Age cliché.

After that's through he breaks out into full conspiracy mode. Rothschilds, Illuminati, Freemasons, NWO; it's all there. And it all connects to a global secret society that has existed since ancient Egypt and Babylon and controls everything by surreptitiously employing ultra-advanced technology against the citizens of the world; basically suppressing them in order to maintain the status quo. His extraordinary evidence for this extraordinary claim is an oversimplification of complex economic systems and appeals to esoterica. Oh, and the momentous discovery of a massive document meticulously delineating all the intricacies of government mind control techniques, which incidentally was carelessly left inside an old printer that some bloke bought secondhand at the yard sale of an ex-NWO agent...or something along those lines. I can't remember exactly, to tell the truth. Anyway, it all got really boring really quickly, so I quit about an hour into it.

Icke is so god damn stupid. Its an art form to actually be so deluded and feel so correct. So all of science with our medicines and biology is wrong.

I really dont like him.

I have said it before - a old friend once told me when explaining icke 'you have to unlearn everything you know'

Damn right you do. He forgot to say 'and fill your head up with crap'
