Robert Reich, a professor at UC Berkely and former Secretary of Labor in the first Clinton Administration tells a story. In October 1988 he was on a program with another fellow who urged people to buy stock because the market had nowhere to go but up. Reich said the market was on the verge of a major collapse. Wouldn't you know- a few days later the market tanked. However, Reich says he had been warning against that for ten years. If you talk enough, you will occasionally say something that is correct.
