Doesn't seem to be any change since Feb. 5, 2013. Have not heard, other than noticing that, anything about it. No Wiki update, nobody noting it here (as far as I have been able to check in Search), no internet notice I have been able to locate - so, if anyone knows what has happened please feel free to pass it on!!!!!!!

Could be..... Do miss them though!!!!! and wish they had made some kind of bye, bye message!!

They were definitely an excellent source of shadenfreude, but at the same time, I think they may have contributed to some on-going misconceptions about how evolution works, so I have mixed feelings about the whole thing.

Wikipedia said:
While the Darwin Awards are named after Charles Darwin, because of his theory of natural selection, there is no evidence that the stories depicted actually represent the removal of "judgement impairment genes" from the gene pool.

yeah,...and most of them looked like they probably procreated a time or two before they died, which may or may not have benefitted the offspring they were prevented from further influencing!

(it always comes back to nature/nurture - bad seed/soil)
