Cryptomundo Incorporated formed

Hepperle is wacko for sure and that is why Rainsong chose him. It looks like partners in scamming. Here Hepperle defends himself for producing an "obtuse" press release.

...Why on Earth would he release the pictures before they have been examined by prominent individuals in the field of Ornithology? Right. Of course, if a two-headed genetic cross between a man and a parakeet was photographed, it would be released to the National Enquirer immediately. But this ain't that.
Joe Hepperle

Shut your mouth and listen, Joe. You are supposed to have the rediscovery verified before you produce a press release. You are an unprofessional writer of press releases and I'm thinking that Rainsong isn't even a birdwatcher. You guys might be positioned to get in some legal trouble.

Back to Coleman. He had (and still does) the opportunity to explain to his readers why there are good and rational reasons to be skeptical of this new claim. Will he do this?

Hairless mammals are just so pathetic looking.

*cough*

That Coast to Coast made lol several times.

1. Loren says "despite my modesty" about the museum- soda came out my nose at that.
2. Loren saying it was not a year of media frenzy. He always ushered the media frenzy. How short it is his memory on things!
3. Most peoples' introduction to cryptozoology is Coast to Coast! That is SAD. And totally embarrassing.
4. Noory can't pronounce "coelacanth". Classic. "Cola..."

Reminds of the chimpanzee strength thread in S,M,M&T. That is not one hairless chimp I would be making fun of. He looks like he could rip your arms off and beat you with them.

I was going to mention this in the other thread, but I believe the hairless chimp is Cinder from the St. Louis Zoo. She has since died. They used to drag in kids with alopecia to see her.

A few years back, the zoo opened a new outdoor primate exhibit. Naturally, planning, fund raising and building took several years, so they had plenty of time to consider the problems increased sun exposure could cause a hairless chimp. They spent a long time trying to train her either to put sunscreen on herself or let the keepers apply it, but she was having none of it. Wisely, they decided to leave her be.

Why did Rainsong choose Hepperle to write the press release?

Because they are related. Daniel Rainsong is actually Daniel Dean Hepperle.

The same sources strongly indicate that "Daniel Dean Hepperle" and "Daniel Dean Rainsong" both of Ames Iowa as well as several other places are likely the same person; they are the same age and have resided in the same places.

Daniel Dean Hepperle and an unnamed brother were involved in a case of transporting stolen macaws across state lines in 1986; Daniel Dean was convicted and failed in his appeal. The particulars are easy to find by googling "Daniel Dean Hepperle."

As far as I can tell, both Hepperles are crackpots. One of them is an ex-con. Is Joe the brother?

Re: IBW Photos.

The photo was from the Sabine River in TX right?

http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/metropolitan/6833095.html By this morning, officials said nearly half of the oil was out of the water. About 46,200 gallons have been recovered, and nearly 174,000 gallons is thought to have evaporated or dissipated.

More than 550 people were working on the spill this morning, 15 skimmers and four barges available to store recovered oil.

The Sabine-Neches Waterway was closed to boat traffic from the Gulf of Mexico.

Officials warned that, aside from the cost of cleanup, keeping the channel closed would mean an economic impact of roughly $200 million per day beginning today. Crews worked around the clock to minimize the delay, and officials expected to allow essential traffic through the channel within several days.

From his advertisement for his 2 week discovery trip, he claims that the base camp would be at Niblett's Bluff State Park. While this is north of the Port Arthur area and wouldn't have been affected (I think) it is certainly not prime habitat for IBW. The search area was up in Arkansas, more isolated from suburbia and certainly more area.

It's just all too fishy.
